Travel & Transport

On Day of Wedding - Please put BT49 0HP into your Sat Navs. There are 2 entrances into Drenagh Country Estate. Sometimes they do close one of the gates. However the gates are a short distance apart, therefore if you keep driving you will reach the 2nd gates in a few minutes. There is parking at the venue and you can leave your car there overnight if you wish. The staff will direct you as soon as you reach the Estate. All cars must be collected by 11am the following morning.

Travelling to the Area - If you are planning on hiring a car (or bringing your own car over on the Ferry), there are easy links from any of the local airports / ferrys port to the surrounding areas near Limavady. Belfast typically should be less than an hour and Derry Airport is about half an hour.
From Belfast City Airport - You can either;
> get the airport express bus service 600 (leaves every 30 mins and costs c£3) and only takes 10 mins to get to Belfast Central train station.
> Alternatively you can get a taxi to the train station, which would cost about £5-£10 depending on time of day.
From there get a train to Coleraine (costs c£10-£13). Depending on which town / village you decide to stay in - you can change at Coleraine to any local area.
From Belfast International Airport - You can either;
> get the Ulster bus 109A/D (costs c£2) to Antrim Train Station
> Alternatively you can get a taxi to the train status, which would cost about £8 depending on time of day
From there get a train to Coleraine (costs c£8-£12). Depending on which town / village you decide to stay in - you can change at Coleraine to any local area.

Our Plans Around the Wedding

We are arriving on Wednesday 17th August and staying until late on Sunday 28th August. We have rented an Airbnb for our stay at the following address:
68a Portstewart Road
Causeway Coast and Glens
(for those that aren't local we are just off the main road between Coleraine & Portstewart).

A large number of guests are arriving on the Monday 22nd and staying until Friday the 26th. Therefore we will try and base ourselves at the house for these 2 days to make it easy for everyone to pop in to say 'hi' and 'bye'. We are looking forward to spending as much time as possible with everyone while we are there so please reach out. Alternatively, if you are trying to have a holiday as well while you are there, don't feel obligated to spend all of your hols with us 😁
